Four CWOSSA teams have advanced through to the semifinals tomorrow at the "Knights-Vikes" Classic.
We've covered the Bluevale side of the story below, but it was also an intriguing afternoon at WCI.
For starters, the Forest Heights Trojans knocked off the top team in Guelph, the JF Ross Royals in a gritty affair, 64-51.
The Royals actually led that game the entire way until the fourth quarter, where the Royals got forced into an odd lineup on the court due to some serious foul trouble. The Trojans also had a few guys in foul trouble but stuck with them and the risk paid off in terms of a 14-3 run (in the first 2:00 of the 4th), giving the Trojans a 50-41 lead that they would not relinquish.

Gage Paquette led Forest Heights with 16, while Kieran McAndrew had 15. Ross received 10 each from Wil de Groot and Mike Friesen.
In the other first round game not mentioned earlier, Brampton Notre Dame topped Kitchener Huron Heights 69-56. Sean Samuel netted 26 for Huron Heights while Shayan Butt added 17 in the loss.
In championship quarterfinal #1 at WCI, St. David edged Stratford St. Mike's 52-50, backed by 19 points from Tyson Lavigne and 17 from Dan Hummel.
Meanwhile, Forest Heights took out last year's champion, the Brampton Notre Dame Knights 76-68. Javon Masters and Kieran McAndrew each poured in 21 for FHCI.
Therefore, tomorrow's semifinals will feature:
St. James vs. St. Mary's - Noon at Bluevale
Forest Heights vs. St. David - Noon at WCI
