WCSSAA Senior: Tuesday Results (December 7th)

Here's Tuesday's senior action from WCSSAA:

Cameron Heights 66, Preston 35
My Pick:  CHCI
The Gaels had no trouble with Preston this time, defeating them soundly at home.  Vedran Dmitrovic (17) and Nebojsa Djeric (13) led the Gaels, while Ryan Jones (9) and Sohaib Malik (6) had the top Preston efforts.

KCI 61, Eastwood 52
My Pick:  ECI
KCI pulls the road win and drops me from the "perfect perch" on my WCSSAA picks.  Alex Galea had KCI's first 20+ effort of the year (22 points) while Martin Bauman added 10.  ECI received 11 from Steffon Heyliger and 10 from Jerelle Vaughan.

Forest Heights 60, Huron Heights 47
My Pick:  FHCI
Two of last year's top juniors --- Javon Masters (FHCI - 20 points) and Sean Samuel (HHHS - 15) led the way for their clubs in this one.  The Trojans stay perfect while the Huskies remain winless.

Bluevale 56, Jacob Hespeler 35
My Pick:  BCI
No trouble for the Knights here, especially with Stefan Cvrkalj in the lineup (19 points).  Ian Farquharson added 10 for Bluevale, while JHSS received 10 from Josh Kirkham and 9 from Joel Perkins.

Grand River 60, Southwood 52
My Pick:  GRCI
The "game of the day" lived up to its billing, with GRCI coming out on top.  Brodi Verbiski (21), Daniel Harun (13) and Osama Qahwash (12) were all in double figures for the Rens, while Brian Doran (19) and Mack Collins (13) had the top Southwood efforts.

SJAM 67, WODSS 39
My Pick:  SJAM
The Highlanders stay perfect, as expected.  Ben Reyhani lit up another 20+ effort (22 points) while Edem Ame had 16 in the win.  Brett Sider and Chris Thomson had 7 each for WODSS.

WCI 39, Galt 22
My Pick:  WCI
The Vikes win a defensive slugfest down in Cambridge to stay unbeaten.  Jacob Ranton and Alex Heap had 9 each in the win, while Tyler Audet was the lone player in double figures, leading Galt with 11.  Leon Vilayseng chipped in 7 more for GCI.

GPSS - Bye Win (EDSS)
