WCSSAA Junior Results: December 9th - Unbeatens Stay Unbeaten.....Barely

The four undefeated WCSSAA junior teams remained that way after Thursday's games, though two of those squads won their games by 2 points or less!  Here's a rundown:

Bluevale 55, WCI 33
The Knights are one of four clubs that remain undefeated after Thursday's action; they handled the Vikes with relative ease at home.  Jeevanjot Sidhu put up another 20+ effort (24 points) while Lukas Seibert added 12.  WCI was led by Bojan Vincic with 10 and Etai Mizrahi who scored 8.

Cameron Heights 44, Eastwood 42
After ECI's expectations were lowered after a loss to KCI on Tuesday, they proved on Thursday that they can challenge for a top spot in WCSSAA by playing right with the CHCI Gaels.  For Cameron, Jason Thompson hit for 15 points while Milos Jovkovic had 10.  ECI was topped by Sayyad Yeganehnia with 9 and Tre Nicholson, who had 8.

Forest Heights 54, Elmira 25
The Trojans cruised past Elmira to also start their year at 4-0.  Juwan Miller (16) and Ian Anderson (13) were the usual 1-2 punch for Forest Heights, while Elmira received 7 from Jordan Frey and 6 from Jack Marche.

Galt 45, WODSS 25
Galt evened up their record at 2-2 on Thursday night with a comfortable win at W-O.  Tajinder Lall had 15 for Galt, and Travis Simpson added 9.  Alex Trotter (7) and Garner Matthews (5) were tops for the Crusaders.

KCI 57, Huron Heights 49
Big week for the Raiders as they go 2-0.  Sam Basco and Julian Greer had 14 each for KCI, while Alex Deadman and Ahmed Radi netted 10 each for Huron Heights.

Glenview Park 48, Preston 47
The Panthers are 4-0 on the year --- but three of those wins have been by a combined four points!  They pick up another one-point win at the expense of winless Preston.  Sean Davidson poured in 26 for Glenview, while Chris Thompson added 11.  Adam Snyder (21) and Aaron Coulter (18) topped the Preston scoresheet.

Jacob Hespeler 55, Southwood 41
The Hawks get the win in a battle of teams that entered play at 0-3.  James Roberts had 22 for JHSS, while teammate Saajan Arora added 12.  Southwood was topped by Brandon Starr's 13 points.

Grand River 75, SJAM 64
A shootout between two of the "upper echelon" clubs in WCSSAA ends in a GRCI win.  Chuder Teny (20) and Murtada Khamis (11) led the Rens, while SJAM received 22 each from Sayaad Bacchus and Nebojsa Sarkanovic.
