WCSSAA: Junior Results (December 7th)

Here are Tuesday's results from the WCSSAA junior league:

Cameron Heights 60, Preston 19
No trouble for the Gaels, who are expected to be one of the top couple of teams in WCSSAA when all is said and done.  Jason Thompson had 12 and Afraz Khan 11 in the win; Preston was led by Patrick Iskat with 7.

KCI 54, Eastwood 45
Big win for the Raiders on the road as they hand ECI their first loss of the season.  Jelani McLean (18) and Rade Sokonic (16) were a big one-two punch for KCI on this night, while ECI received 12 from Tre Nicholson and 8 points from Victor Mgabe.

Forest Heights 59, Huron Heights 42
Juwan Miller continued his scoring spree in this one, knocking home 22 points to lead all scorers.  Alex Deadman (9) and Tristan Kozub (8) topped the Husky scoring list.

Bluevale 53, Jacob Hespeler 45
Don't look now but the Bluevale Knights have shown marked improvement over last season (now 3-0).  Garrett Large had a season-high 17 points for Bluevale, while Lukas Siebert added 15.  James Roberts (18) and Saajan Arorra (10) were the Hawks in double figures.

Grand River 54, Southwood 33
The Rens improved to 2-1 for the year --- and all three games have been against Cambridge schools to this point.  Murtada Khamis (16) and Chuder Teny (15) continued their strong play for the Rens, while SSS was led by Brandon Starr and Colton Quigley, with 9 each.

Glenview Park 44, Elmira 27
The Panthers reel off their 3rd consecutive win to start the season.  Sean Davidson just missed out on another 20+ performance (18 points) while Chris Thompson added 8.  EDSS was led by Lucas Nosal's 7 points.

SJAM 51, WODSS 31
Sayaad Bacchus had 16 points and Sunny Heer 11 as the Highlanders cruised to victory at home.  Alex Trotter (8) and Aaron Shantz (6) were the high scorers for the Crusaders.

WCI 42, Galt 35
The Vikes pick up an important road win in Cambridge.  Etai Mirzahi (14) and Max Pfeifle (14) led the way for WCI; Galt received 11 from Scott Holton in the loss.
