ECI Junior Tournament: Results

Here are the results from this weekend's junior tournament at Eastwood CI, which was captured by Grand River Collegiate in a close battle over the host Rebels:

In a tournament with 8 WCSSAA teams, obviously there were some "regular season previews" as well as a couple of rematches of regular season games that were already played.  One of those in particular was GPSS/GRCI; the Panthers took the regular season matchup by 2 but Grand River got some revenge in this tournament, winning by 15 after some foul trouble by GPSS in the third quarter allowed the Rens to pull away.

The championship final was a close affair as ECI maintained "contact" with the Rens throughout, which led to an exciting finish --- the Rens prevailing by 4.
