Waterloo-Oxford at Bluevale

With a solid crop of juniors (CWOSSA participants) moving up, I don't think the Crusaders will go winless this year. That said, they won't win against the Knights today.

Grand River at Eastwood
Pick: Grand River

The Rens are a bit too deep for the Rebels and should come away with the opening-day win.

Waterloo CI at Forest Heights
Pick: Forest Heights

Forest Heights with too much offensive firepower for the Vikes to handle. Trojans by 12.

Southwood at Glenview Park
Pick: Southwood

The Panthers will get a rude welcome back to the WCSSAA senior league from the Sabres.

Jacob Hespeler at Preston
Pick: Jacob Hespeler

With a bunch of veterans (Brandon Vandyken, Joel Perkins, Connor Paddock) back, this could be the year that the JHSS Hawks start creeping up the WCSSAA standings ladder. They should get a win to start things off here.

Galt at KCI
Pick: KCI

The KCI Raiders should get it done in the "Beige Ballroom" tonight.

Elmira at Huron Heights
Pick: Huron Heights

Toss up game here. I like the Lancers to maybe make a run for a playoff spot, so a win today would be huge......but I'll stick with Huron in the Husky Dome.

SJAM at Cameron Heights **Game of the Day**
Pick: SJAM

Gotta at least have one different than JR over at wcssaasports. He's got the Gaels, and I think it's a good pick. SJAM went deep into the volleyball season so there could be some vulnerability early in the year while good teams like Cameron have been practicing with a full squad for a while.

That said, the champs are still the champs and I'll take 'em by single digits.
