Around the Horn: Monday, December 14th

Here's games that should be circled on the calendar this week:

Monday, Dec. 14th (WCSSAA Junior) - Bishop Mac (5-0) at Lourdes (5-0). Self explanatory, battle for first place in the D10 league.

Tuesday, Dec. 15th (D10 Senior) - St. James (6-0) at Centennial (6-0). Another battle for first in the D10 league, this time on the senior side.

Tuesday, Dec. 15th (D10 Senior) - JF Ross (3-2) at Centre Wellington (4-2). Battle between the two clubs that look like they will be duking it out for the "D10 #2" CWOSSA AAAA berth. CW also has Centennial slated for Thursday.

Tuesday, Dec. 15th (WCSSAA Senior) - Southwood (1-1) at Forest Hts (1-1). It's early, but still a big game here for both clubs.

Tuesday, Dec. 15th (WCSSAA Senior) - SJAM (2-0) at KCI (2-0). Two unbeaten clubs and a rematch of last year's WCSSAA Championship game.

Thursday, Dec. 17th (WCSSAA Senior) - SJAM at Bluevale. Depending on how Tuesday action goes, first place could be on the line in this one heading into the break.

Thursday, Dec. 17th (WCSSAA Senior) - WCI at Grand River. Two teams that are looking to establish themselves as contenders for the title.

Thursday, Dec. 17th (WCSSAA Junior) - WCI at Grand River. Huge early game, especially when you consider WCSSAA only gets 2 "AAAA" CWOSSA reps this year. WCI could go 2 up on GRCI in the loss column if they win here.

FYI - No D8 matchups between SDCSS/St. Mary's/RCSS or D5 matchups between SJC/NP this week.
