Brantford's North Park lost a heartbreaker to Oakville St. Thomas Aquinas 50-49 in the Chancellor Tournament (Hamilton)'s semfinals earlier today. Dave Eves had a tremendous outing for the Trojans, pouring in 29 points.
North Park rebounding to beat Brampton St. Augustine 65-63 in the third place game. Eves added another 23 points in that contest.
Meanwhile, Kitchener Resurrection rebounded from their opening day loss and captured the consolation championship.
They demolished Sarnia St. Patrick's 87-37 in the consolation semifinal, led by Ryan Herron's 17 points.
In the consolation final, they knocked off Stoney Creek's Cardinal Newman by a 38-36 count.
