Monday D8 & D10 Results

....and also one that wasn't reported last Thursday, but we now have details for:

Dec 10th Junior (D10) - Centennial CVI 59, Guelph CVI 40
Centennial cruised past
GCVI thanks to a huge effort by Erik Sterne, who pumped in 30 points. Aleks Kaludjerovic added 15. Aaron Loder again led GCVI, this time with 15 points.

Dec 14th Senior (D10) - Lourdes 75, Bishop Mac 30
How badly does Bishop Mac miss Connor Wood (now attending REDA in Hamilton)? They drop to 1-5 on the year as Lourdes pummeled them tonight.

Mike Finoro had a season high 27 points for Lourdes, while teammate Sharieff Peru added in 21. Justin Manarang had 6 and Nigel Dyer 5 for Bishop Mac.


Dec 14th Junior (D10) - Bishop Mac 74, Lourdes 65
The battle of the unbeaten goes to Bishop Mac by 9. The Celtics were led by Mitchell Wood's 24 points, while Michael Cloutier added 15 and Ben Morris chipped in with 13. Chris Watson and Jordan Trimble were again the go-to guys for Lourdes, as they scored 16 and 15 respectively.

The Celtics will be taking on Forest Heights in an exhibition game on Wednesday ---- will my #1 junior boys ranking go to the winner?

D8 - Junior
Resurrection 51, St. Benedict 25
The Phoenix improved their D8 regular season & playoff win streak to 17 games as they double up the Saints. Cory Kenning (9) and Trey Forbes (8) led a balanced Phoenix effort. St. Benedict's leading scorers were unreported.

Rockway 49, Monsignor Doyle 41
In a battle of winless junior clubs, the Flames get the win. Nathaniel Kara had 13 and Nick Read 12 for Rockway, while Mitchell Figuereido led all scorers with 15 for Doyle.

D8 - Senior
Resurrection 53, St. Benedict 32
Fifth-year forward Matt Stocco put home 16 points for the Phoenix, while rookie guard Tyler Schneider chipped in 8. The Saints were led by Kyle Moniz's 8 points.

Monsignor Doyle 56, Rockway 33
The 'Stangs blow out the Flames and move into a tie (with St. Benedict & St. David) for third place. Josh Loehle added another notch to the 20 point club as he finished with 20 exactly. Corin Langille scored another 14 points for Monsignor Doyle.

The Flames (0-5) were again led by Josh Klassen, who had 11 points.
