D10 Picks - Thursday, December 3rd

Year to Date D10 Picks Record: 10-2 (.833)

St. James (3-0) at Bishop Mac (1-2), 3:45pm
My Pick: St. James
Line: St. James by 23

The Lions are off to a great start. Ryan Higgins and co. should continue their winning ways at the expense of the Bishop Mac Celtics.

GCVI (0-3) at Orangeville (0-3), 3:45pm
My Pick: GCVI
Line: GCVI by 5

One team will get their first win here. Which ODSS team will show up --- the team that lost to CW by 34 or the team that lost to CCVI by 5?

JF Ross (2-1) at Centennial (3-0), 4:00pm
My Pick: Centennial
Line: CCVI by 19

Maybe the Spartans were looking ahead to this rivalry game on Tuesday when they played ODSS. I expect them to take care of Ross handily at this point in the season.

Centre Wellington (2-1) at Lourdes (1-2), 4:00pm
My Pick: Lourdes
Line: Lourdes by 7

Hopefully Centre Wellington doesn't mess up my picks for the second time this week, but they're playing decent basketball right now. With St. James, Ross, and CCVI before the break, this is a HUGE game for the Falcons......but I'll go with the home Crusaders here.

JUNIOR GAMES (scheduled for 15 minutes after completion of Sr. Games)
St. James (2-1) at Bishop Mac (3-0)
JF Ross (1-2) at Centennial (2-1)
GCVI (0-3) at Orangeville (0-3)
Centre Wellington (1-2) at Lourdes (3-0)

  1. You are doing a great job here Mark. To keep track of all of cwossa will be a heck of a task but so far, so good!
Being from Guelph I was jealous of the KW folk when you first started covering high school ball over on thehoop-la.com. Hopefully your work continues as flawlessly as it has and you get some recognition for it.
I really enjoy reading what's going on all over the region and it's nice to have it in one central spot.

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Thanks for the props, I do what I can....so far, so good!

Yeah, I'm a WCSSAA "native" but have grown as much as I can with the other leagues.....I've moved to Guelph last year so that's allowed me to get a bit more in tune with their scene for sure.

Always appreciate the feedback, and as always feel free to throw any scores, stats, updates my way.....
