D10: Celtics Take Showdown for First Place

The Bishop Macdonell Celtics continued their exceptional play to start the D10 season, taking out the JF Ross Royals 53-38 in a game played on Thursday afternoon at Ross.

The win boosts the Celtics to 6-0, a full 2 games clear of three teams tied for second place at 4-2 (CWDHS, Ross and GCVI).

I thought this would be closer, but the Gaels had no trouble with the Crusaders on this night.  Sierra McLaren poured in 24 points while Alysha Warnholtz had 16 for the winners.  Kierra Bunnaman pocketed 16 for Lourdes.
