D10: Tuesday Results

No real surprises on Tuesday in the D10 senior league, as St. James (now 7-0) and Bishop Mac (moving to 6-1) are still the top two teams in the league after yesterday's games.  Here's the recap:

Bishop Mac 41, Lourdes 32
My Pick:  BMAC by 8
Rebecca Morris contributed 11 and Tianna Sullivan added 10 as the Celtics won this battle of "AA" schools.  Charlotte Case had 12 and Monica Trimble 10 for the Crusaders.

Guelph CVI 40, Orangeville 11
My Pick:  GCVI by 24
As expected, no trouble for the Gaels on Tuesday.  Sydney Wilson had a game-high 17, bolstered by 6 each from Clay Janzen and Ijeoma Staunton.  Shannnon Dunford led the Bears with 6.

St. James 43, Centennial 38
My Pick:  STJ by 11
The Lions are still unbeaten, but it didn't come easy against the Spartans.  Ashley Benham (18) and Chelsey Gazzola (8) were the St. James top scorers, while Hannah Newman (13) and Emma Cain (12) topped the Centennial list.

JF Ross 28, CWDHS 18

A low-scoring affair goes to the Royals, who received 8 points from Teddi Taran and 6 from Steph Gordon.  Maddie Fennell had a game-high 10 for the Falcons.
