WCSSAA & D10 - Combined Picks Post (Tuesday, October 15th)

D10 YTD:  25-6 (.806)

A light schedule in WCSSAA today, with only one game on the radar.  As such, we'll do a combined post of WCSSAA/D10 picks, starting with the lone game on the WCSSAA radar:

SJAM (2-6) at Huron Hts. (3-5)
My Pick:  HHSS by 11
Despite the records, this is a pretty big game with both of these clubs in playoff contention.  The winner will receive a huge boost to their chances, and I think it'll be Huron tonight.

(Update:  looks like the BCI-SSS rescheduled game goes tonight as well.  I'll take the Knights by 27 in that one.)

And in D10....

Lourdes (6-2) at St. James (7-1)
My Pick:  STJ by 8
Not sure about the Lions' injury situation, but they'll for sure have most of their starting lineup back that missed Thursday's loss against GCVI due to a field trip.  Look for them to get back in the win column here if all systems are go.

JF Ross (3-5) at Bishop Mac (7-1)
My Pick:  BMAC by 17
The Celtics should be able to get past the Royals today at home, either keeping pace with or vaulting ahead of St. James depending upon the result of that game.

Centennial (4-4) at Orangeville (0-8)
My Pick:  CCVI by 23
The Spartans will move back above .500 here today on the road.

Guelph CVI (4-4) at CWDHS (1-7)
My Pick:  GCVI by 17
...ditto for the Gaels, although their contest should be a bit more competitive than Centennial's, at least based upon the first GC-CW meeting.
