Maddy Horst poured in 21 points and Alisha Glendinning added 7 as the Waterloo-Oxford Crusaders knocked off the Jacob Hespeler Hawks 41-32 on Thursday afternoon in WCSSAA Senior Girls' play.With the win, WODSS improves to 8-0 while Jacob Hespeler falls to 6-2. These two teams, along with KCI (also 8-0) are expected to battle for CWOSSA's two "AAA" berths.
Candice Wright (17) and Courtney Wright (6) were the top scorers for Jacob Hespeler on Thursday.
With only one game next week on Thursday for Waterloo-Oxford (Elmira) and KCI (Preston), we will likely see a battle between those two unbeaten clubs on Tuesday, October 22nd at KCI.
