In BAA action on Tuesday afternoon, the West Hill Lady Raiders of Owen Sound continued their winning ways, improving to 4-0 in league play with a 51-28 win over Peninsula Shores (Wiarton).
The Raiders were again led by Maddie Lougheed, who knocked home a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Christine Clark (14) and Sarah Nicholls (7) were the other top Raider performers, while Kara Schultz (9) and Heidi Dekker (8) led the way for Peninsula Shores.
As an aside, Lougheed has gotten off to a very strong start. She actually put home 23 points and added 20 rebounds in last Thursday's thrilling 43-42 win against WHSS' rivals, Owen Sound CVI. That game was actually decided in OT, after OSCVI's Carrie Davenport hit a shot that sent the game to an extra session.
