Southwood Invitational (Senior): This Weekend

Just in case anyone wants to come out to my neck of the woods and catch some tournament action, here is the schedule for this tournament which features numerous "top 10" teams from my AAA & AAAA rankings:

Guelph CVI - #5 AAA
Southwood SS - #7 AAA
Westside SS - #10 AAA

Bluevale CI - #4 AAAA
Eastwood CI - #6 AAAA

Joining those schools will be a couple of squads that are no strangers to having success either ---- the KCI Raiders, Resurrection Phoenix and Grand River Renegades.

Friday's schedule is as follows:
KCI vs. Resurrection - Noon
Guelph CVI vs. Southwood - 1:30pm
Eastwood vs. Westside - 3:00pm
Grand River vs. Bluevale - 4:30pm

Play continues on Friday evening at 6:00pm and 7:30pm with the consolation semifinals, while the championship semifinals go Saturday morning at 9:00 and 10:30.  Given that Southwood is about a 3-minute drive from my place, I'll probably check those semifinals (which potentially could include Eastwood vs. Bluevale) out before heading to my brother's master's graduation at the U of G on Saturday afternoon.
