As we discussed earlier, CWOSSA "AAA" is now a "6 team" event, compared to 8 teams in years previous.
The original qualifying list was as follows:
BAA vs. D4 - 1 team
WCSSAA - 2 teams
Brantford - 1 team
D10 - 1 team
D8 vs. D9 - 1 team
Now, in senior, there are no BAA (West Hill) or D4 (Westside) team. As such, WCSSAA #3 will now play Brantford #2 for a third spot.
Here's how things look in senior, right now:
WCSSAA (2+1): JHSS (#2 seed), SSS (#6 seed), EDSS (#7 seed), KCI (#8 seed), PHS (#11 seed).
Brantford (1+1): North Park (#3 seed), Brantford CI (#4 seed).
D10 (1): St. James (#4 seed), Guelph CVI (#6 seed).
D8 vs. D9 (1): Monsignor Doyle vs. Holy Trinity
In junior, D4 does have an "AAA" rep (Westside SS). As such, WCSSAA #3 will play Westside for a CWOSSA berth:
WCSSAA (2+1): KCI (#3 seed), Elmira (#4 seed), Jacob Hespeler (#7 seed), Galt (#10 seed).
Therefore, the Galt vs. JHSS qualifying game winner will also get at least a play-in game against Westside for a CWOSSA berth.
Brantford (1): North Park (#1 seed in D5 - Qualified due to PJC & BCI's losses yesterday).
D10 (1): Guelph CVI (#1 seed); St. James (#3 seed)
D8 vs. D9 (1): St. David vs. Holy Trinity
