WCSSAA Junior: Final Results & Playoff Matchups

Bunch of exciting games on the WCSSAA junior schedule to wrap up the regular season on Tuesday.

In fact, if you throw out the Forest Heights - Grand River score, all of the other 5 games were actually decided by 5 points or less.

Let's get right to the results, and then take a look at the final standings and playoff matchups:

Bluevale's overtime win here allowed them to take 6th place in the WCSSAA standings, while the Gaels fall to the 8th spot.  Megan Reid led Bluevale with 14 and Maddy Fielding added 8; Emma Attanson had 8 for Cameron while Salome Mekasha netted 7.

KCI 33, Elmira 29
The Raiders take the #3 seed with this win, while the Lancers (10-2 as well) will still have a first-round bye at #4.  Amy Graves topped the Raider scoring with 10, while Alia Hazineh had 8.  Nicole Cressman poured in a game-high 16 for the Lancers, with Sydney Jones adding 6.

Grand River 65, Forest Heights 48
The Rens completed their perfect WCSSAA regular season with a comfortable home win over Forest Heights.  Tara Deboer had 22 and Nyamuoch Teny 13 in the win for the Rens; Tyrah Wilson had 16 and Linna Liou 14 for Forest Heights.
