Although WCSSAA schools have a "scheduled" day off today (one make-up game on the books), the D10 is back with a full-slate of post-Thanksgiving games.
Here's a rundown of what's on tap today, starting with what is undoubtedly the "game of the day" featuring the league's two unbeaten squads (that one goes at 3:45pm, for those interested):
Bishop Mac (6-0) at Lourdes (6-0)
My Pick: Lourdes by 3
These two teams have defeated all 6 other squads in the D10 league, so it looks as though they will not only battle it out for the D10 title, but also the "AA" CWOSSA berth. Another chapter in their rivalry, and I'll go with the home team today in a toss-up.
Guelph CVI (1-5) at Orangeville (0-6)
My Pick: GCVI by 11
Assuming the GCVI Gaels aren't too slow on the court as a result of a hearty Thanksgiving dinner, they "should" extend the losing streak of the ODSS Bears here today.
Centennial (1-4) at Centre Wellington (2-4)
My Pick: CWDHS by 10
With CCVI's injury woes not quite resolved as of yet, look for the home-court Falcons to pick up their third win of the year here.
St. James (4-2) at JF Ross (3-2)
My Pick: STJ by 4
Another coin flip on Tuesday's radar; this time, I'll go with the visitors from St. James to squeak past the Ross Royals.
