Georgia Ottewell had 13 points as the OSCVI Falcons beat Meaford's Georgian Bay Vikings 71-13 Thursday in Bluewater Athletic Association north division senior girls basketball quarterfinal play.
Audrey Liskauskas and Erika French each had 12 points for OSCVI.
The two teams took a moment's silence prior to Thursday's game to honour Grey Highlands senior player Jordan Lynn Fawcett, who died Tuesday morning from an epileptic seizure.
The Grey Highlands juniors were to play OSCVI in the quarterfinals but the Lions opted not to go on because of her death.
West Hill was slated to play the Grey Highlands seniors and they to opted not to play.
The semifinals and finals are set for Nov. 11 at the highest south school advancing to the semis.
Carly Schmidt had 17 points as the Kincardine District Knights downed Walkerton's Sacred Heart Crusaders 45-24 Wednesday in BAA south division senior girls play.
The Crusaders avoided the sweep with a 26-19 win in junior play.
