D4 Playoffs: Higher Seeds All Survive & Advance

In D4 playoff action on Monday, the higher seeds (as of time of writing) were all able to advance to the finals in their respective divisions.

Junior action saw #1 Erin DHS slip past #4 Norwell by a 29-24 final.  Pier Zuk poured in 19 for EDHS, while Laura Roth chipped in with 10 of Norwell's points.

The other junior contest had #2 Wellington Heights nip #3 Orangeville Westside 32-31, backed by 16 points from Nicole Bauman.  Toni Juric had 12 for WSS.

While the Centre Dufferin/Wellington Heights senior score was not yet available, we can tell you that the Orangeville Westside Thunder (#1) beat Erin DHS 57-19.  Brooke Rowland had 20 in the win, with Rachel Wilson and Sami Mikulik adding 11 apiece.  Carleigh Monk had 7 for EDHS.

The D4 finals will go on Wednesday, with Erin DHS hosting Wellington Heights in the junior final (1:15pm) and Westside hosting the CDDHS/WHSS winner at 2:30pm.
