In all three contests, the Lancers either came back or pulled away in the second half for the victories. They started out with a 46-36 win over St. James (taking the lead in the final three minutes for good). They went on to defeat Guelph CVI, one of the probable "AAAA" CWOSSA qualifiers from the Royal City 44-36, and then followed that up with a 56-43 win over Lindsay CVI.
The other participating team whom EDSS did not face was Pauline Johnson from Brantford.
