D8: Boys League Facing Scheduling Difficulties

Just a note for all web-surfers out there:  don't put too much stock in the schedules that are currently posted on the D8 basketball website.

The junior D8 circuit has seen Monsingor Doyle withdraw from the league, apparently due to difficulties with finding a coach for the team.  My understanding is that the Mustangs will run a "varsity" program this year, with several juniors joining the senior team.

PRDG (Père Réné de Galinée), the French-language high school from Cambridge, was speculated to field a junior team this season for the first time since the 2005 season; however, it has now been confirmed that they will not be doing so.

The D8 will therefore run a 5-team junior league this year (8 game schedule), featuring St. Mary's, Resurrection, St. David, Rockway and St. Benedict.
